MARKET ANALYSIS BY CRYPTOAARON

Ethereum. Yesterday's candle under $1850 opened the power. On top of that, the news of successful POS tests for ETH - may pull the price up to the $2200-2400 level I've been mentioning for a month. We'll see. For the time being, the market is consolidating, H4 closed and the level pierced by the body, which gives an introduction to the continuation of upward positions.
Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin began a fresh surge above the $23500 resistance and settled above the $24,000 level. It currently trades just above $24500 and is up nearly 7% on the day and more than 7% on the week.

TRIVIA FROM THE WORLD OF CRYPTO

Third and final test of Ethereum network connection seemingly successful
The Goerli connection, the third and final connection of the Ethereum (ETH) test network before the blockchain transitions to proof-of-stake (PoS) from its current proof-of-work (PoW) mechanism, has seemingly been successful.
In the process of connecting the test networks, the Goerli test network was connected to the Prater test network, a chain of PoS beacons, and this is the last test before the actual connection.
Merge is Ethereum's eagerly awaited update. The two previous testnet mergers, Ropsten and Sepolia, were largely successful, and Goerli appears to be as well.
The final transition to PoS is said to take place around September 20.
However, the Goerli test network connection was not entirely seamless. Ethereum developer Marius van der Wijden said that the developers did not finalize Goerli sooner because "there was some confusion in the network due to two different terminals and many nodes not being updated." He added, however, that so far "it looks pretty good."
Asked about the two terminal blocks and how that might have affected the merge if it had been mainnet instead of testnet, Wijden said that theoretically it could have happened, and they "have code to handle two terminal blocks." He also said merge would have been successful if it had been mainnet.
According to the Ethereum Foundation, the Goerli merge is the last opportunity for users to make sure their PoS validators are configured correctly before moving to the mainnet.
